Pyro LED

These are high intensity white LEDs that happen to have the right electrical characteristics to make them good for testing the pyro circuits on Altus Metrum flight computers. When attached to a pyro channel, they will glow dimly if the continuity circuit is working and they’re inserted the right way (LEDs have polarity, unlike e-matches, so which way they’re attached matters!). When the channel fires, they give off an intensely bright flash of light.
